Sustainability Starts in Your Wardrobe.
When we think about being “sustainable,” we don’t usually think about our clothes. But the truth is, our wardrobes are one of the biggest places where waste happens and also where the easiest changes can be made.
I’ve seen it first-hand. Whenever I go into a client’s wardrobe, we almost always find hidden gems: pieces they loved once but forgot about, things that can be styled in new ways, or clothes that need a little repair to feel fresh again. Shopping your own wardrobe is one of the simplest (and most fun) ways to avoid buying something new you don’t really need.
And if something really isn’t working for you anymore? That doesn’t mean it belongs in a bin bag. Reselling or passing things on gives those clothes a second life, instead of adding to landfill.
The fast fashion movement wants us to think we always need something new. But often, what we actually need is to reconnect with what we already own, to fall back in love with the clothes hanging right in front of us. Sometimes, it’s just about seeing them differently.
That’s what I do through The Wardrobe Edit: I come into your space, help you edit what you have, and make it work harder for you. The bonus? You walk away not just with a refreshed wardrobe, but also with the knowledge that you’re making more sustainable choices, too.
